To-do
Things to get done, with or without a place attached.
Getting places in
- → Paste a Google Maps link. The share link from the Maps app works, and so does the address bar on desktop — the place comes in with its address, map pin and category.
- → Paste up to fifty at once. Good for a saved list you already keep in Google Maps.
- → Or type a name. For somewhere Google doesn't know, or a friend's flat. Mark it private and only people on your lists ever see it.
- → Search places you already have. Anything you've added before or rated can go straight onto another list.
- → Add something with no place at all. "Book the ferry" belongs on the trip too. One entry can carry several places, so "run errands" can hold all of them.
Planning it together
- → Add the people you're going with. By username or email. Everyone can add places, reorder the days and tick things off as you go.
- → Everyone's comments are their own. Each person writes their own on any place, and nobody overwrites anybody.
- → Share a link with anyone. No account needed to read it. Switch it off and the link stops working; switch it back on and it's the same link.
- → Some things never leave the trip. Room numbers and confirmation codes, any comment you haven't chosen to share, and private places stay with the people on the list.
- → Only the owner decides who sees it. Collaborators plan the trip; sharing it is the owner's call.
Invite only for now — you'll need a code from whoever told you about it.
